ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently recruiting for a motivated, reliable and customer focused Mobile Contract Assistant to join our team based at Shefford in Bedfordchire.

As a Mobile Contract Assistant, you will interact with and support the Account Manager and work closely with the site teams to ensure excellent service delivery and that our clients have a better day, every day.
You will present and conduct yourself in a professional, courteous and appropriate manner in accordance with the Company policies, procedures, guidelines and values and carry out all duties required in connection with supporting the management and delivery of the Contract.

Job Type: Fixed-Term - Full-Time. There is the potential for this role to become permanent contract requirements dependent.

Pay Rate: £11.00 per hour.

Working Hours: 40 Hrs per week, 8 Hrs per day, Monday to Friday - between 08.00 Hrs to 17.00 Hrs although flexibility will be required around the main working hours.

Start Date: Immediately.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

-Visiting sites to ensure compliance on water temperature checks, emergency light testing and Alarm test.
-Training of operatives in aspects of cleaning methods.
-Collecting all time sheets and assisting in monthly payroll with line manager.
-Carrying out audits by self or with clients.
-Arranging cover with the mobile team.
-Delivery and collecting of stock / equipment.
-Reporting , broken or damaged fixtures fittings seen on sites to line manager.
-Regularly check each location to ensure correct materials and stock in place.
-Raising orders if need be.
-Support and guide the site cleaning teams to achieve excellent service levels.
-Cover for the mobile team for annual leave absence.
-Any other reasonable duties on an ad-hoc basis.

ABOUT YOU:

-Driving License is essential.
-5 Years` experience as a Cleaner/Cleaning Operative or Cleaning Supervisor desirable.
-Experience working in a multi-site environment is desirable.
-Ability to build credible relationships.
-Good written English.
-PC Literate with good IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
-Experience of audits and working with ISO 9001, 14001 and QHSAS 18001 standards
-Ability to listen to and motivate employees.
-Proven record of being responsive and innovative.
-Self-motivated with the ability to work flexibly as part of a team.
-Strong Organisational / Time Management skills.
-Positive, polite and professional `can-do` attitude.
-Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet our core values.
