ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Advisor to join our team based in Uxbridge Centre.

Job Type: Permanent - Full Time.

Pay Rate: Up to £33,000 per annum, depending upon experience.

Working Hours: 40 Hrs per week, office based working Monday to Friday usually 09.00 Hrs to 17.30 Hrs.

Start Date: Immediately.

Role Summary:

Work with the HR Director and HR team to develop and deliver the Tenon fm People Plan to support the commercial objectives. Support the development of the Company culture and focus on employee engagement to ensure that employees connect with and commit to the business strategy, feel valued, are inspired to perform to the best of their ability. Ensure that HR function gives the business a professional, proactive and forward-thinking service for both the internal and external customer.

Your responsibilities and Key Areas of work may include:

Recruitment
-Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for assigned roles, including role sign-off to recruit, job descriptions review with LMs, with a key focus on direct recruitment, conduct initial screening and interviews with LMs, role sign-off to appoint and making the offer
-Ensure new employees are fully inducted into the business and have the appropriate skills and capabilities to deliver business excellence
-Have an overview of open Operational roles and support the HR Administrator as required, proposing with creative solutions for problematic / specialty areas
-Support the training of hiring managers, both new to the business and internal promotions, in the Company recruitment procedures
-Track and continually improve recruiting metrics, including cost per hire, time to hire, FT / PT and male / female breakdowns and Internal v`s external appointments

Employee Relations & Performance Management
-Ensure that all employee relations issues and cases are managed professionally and in line with legislation and Company procedure
-Attend ER meetings as HR representative, as requested, note taking and making recommendations.
-Prepare and issue correspondence relating to ER matters, including acknowledgements, invite letters, rescheduling meetings. Prepare and issue outcome letters in conjunction with the relevant Line Manager.
-Be responsible for own administration and follow up all actions with associated administration
-Support, coach and train Managers & Supervisors in all area of people management including but not limited to TUPE transfers, disciplinary and grievance procedures, performance management, absence management, equal opportunities, redundancies, paternity pay and maternity rights
-Coaching Managers & Supervisors on performance management issues and processes thereby ensuring that high performers are nurtured and developed and poor performers are managed appropriately
-Support the design and delivery of ER training and coaching programmes and monitor the effectiveness to programmes delivered.

Talent Management
-Work with the Managers to identify and develop key talent and manage succession

Other
-Ensure that the application of HR policies, process and procedures practices are consistent across the business
-Ensure that all HR trackers, including ER, starters, leavers, LTS, flexible working, performance management etc are updated daily and complete the HR metrics report monthly

ABOUT YOU:

-Proven experience as a HR Advisor, including ER and in-house recruitment, preferably in a multi-site fast-paced service-industry such as Facilities Management, Retail, Hospitality etc
-Strong ER background with the ability to manage disciplinary, grievance from informal stages through to appeal hearings, performance management, TUPE transfers (in & out)
-Good understanding of UK employment legislation and a sound working knowledge of HR and recruitment practices and understanding and of the current labour market
-Experience of using online recruitment tools, such as job boards and social media
-Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to produce written reports and communications
-Be an excellent communicator with the ability to confidently and credibly engage and influence partners and employees
-Experience of working with Investors in People, not essential
-Excellent skills in building relationships and developing partnerships across multiple stakeholders
-Excellent organisation, prioritisation and administration skills with a focus on attention to detail
-Proven record of being responsive and innovative
-Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure with a common-sense approach
-Ability to work in a team as well as an individual
-Have the flexibility to travel to sites, if required
-Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet Company core values
