ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently recruiting for a Regional Operations Director to join our team covering London, South Coast & South West to South Wales.

Job Type: Permanent - Full Time.

Pay Rate: Up to £65,000 per annum depending upon experience.
Plus Company Vehicle / Allowance option.

Working Hours: 40 Hrs per week, Monday to Friday.

Start Date: Immediately.

Role Summary:

The Regional Operations Director will lead the development, implementation, monitoring and review of Tenon fm`s operational business strategy and ensure net profit results by delivering operational excellence, retaining and growing existing customer portfolios, driving sales and controlling costs at regional level. The key to this role is leading and developing motivated and high performing teams through actively managing the progression and performance of the team and building solid succession plans to ensure the highest levels of engagement and retention.

Your responsibilities and Key Areas of work may include:


-Take the lead and be instrumental in exceeding customer expectations within the region
-Drive increased revenue and profit to achieve the Company`s ambitious growth
-Drive rapid and consistent operational improvements to ensure that we deliver on time in full, to budget, quality standards and customers` expectations, with the most effective use of our resources
-Planning and coordinating the implementation of business plans and the penetration of new markets
-Assist in preparing operational budgets, schedules, and other business reports as needed
-Ensure financial targets and other agreed targets are met across the region
-Responsible for data collation for internal and external monthly reporting on all aspects of performance
-Responsible for reviewing the monthly payroll, holding direct reports accountable for payroll accuracy, client satisfaction and ensuring commentary is provided where sites are over / under budget, with action plans in place to resolve issues.
-Build and maintain relationship with existing and new customers to drive growth and sales
-Proactively arrange, prepare and lead customer meetings / contract reviews
-Manage and maintain relationships with our approved supply chain partners and ensure that KPIs are met or exceeded
-Ensuring that communication between departments is ongoing and utilised to maintain an environment of continuous improvement.
-Develop operational team goals that are fully aligned with the business goals
-Provide coaching, guidance and support, set professional development plans to assist employees to reach their full potential through the performance management process
-Ensure that all members of the team continually receive training in their respective fields of expertise and that future developmental training programmes are identified and implemented as appropriate to ensure engagement and performance
-Oversee the management of team workloads in order to meet goals and deadlines
-Develops plans to increase efficiency and reduce costs
-Improves existing systems and policies ensuring these are aligned to company goals
-Promotes and enforces compliance and safety in the workplace
-Lead and direct other company projects as required
-Grow and nurture technology as part of our service delivery goals, and work closely with the team to ensure efficient use of software across all aspects of operational roles and service delivery
-Communicate extensively with the QuESH department on achieving all goals and targets set across all aspects of ESG
-Actively participate in senior forums, providing feedback that supplies the business with improvement concepts
-Oversees service delivery
-Ensure the business operates within the Company's mission statements and values

ABOUT YOU:

-Proven experience in a Senior Management role, with evidence of leading high performing teams, developing business and commercial opportunities, including increasing revenue through generation of leads
-Demonstrate management experience with the ability to identify, coordinate and manage change initiatives
-Excellent negotiation skills, proven track record of successfully upselling / pitching for new business
-Ability to demonstrate exceptional organisational and planning skills
-Be an excellent communicator with the ability to confidently and credibly engage and influence clients, partners and employees
-Experience of finance and budgetary control and ability to manage profit and loss
-Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to produce presentations, analyse and report on data and make and execute recommendations
-Proven record of being responsive and innovative
-Self-motivated with the ability to work under continuous pressure and meet tight deadlines
-A passion for our industry and what we do
-Full, clean driving license (UK)
-Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet Company core values
