ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently recruiting for motivated, reliable and customer focused Payroll Supervisor to join our team based in Uxbridge.

Job Type: Permanent - Full Time.

Pay Rate: £35,000 -£40,000 per annum.

Working Hours: 40 Hrs per week, Monday to Friday 09:00 Hrs to 17:30 Hrs.

Start Date: Immediately.

Role Summary:

Tenon fm are currently recruiting for a motivated, commercial and detail-oriented Payroll Supervisor to be based in Uxbridge, London. You will assist the Payroll Manager and deliver an effective payroll service to the business.

You will work with the site teams to ensure excellent service delivery and that our clients have a better day, every day.

Your responsibilities and Key Areas of work may include:

As a Payroll Specialist, you will work closely with the Payroll Manager, Payroll Team, HR and Finance to ensure an effective and timely payroll service is provided to the business. The role will include but is not limited to:
- Ensuring you keep up to date with new legislation
- Overseeing all monthly payroll runs, ensuring accuracy of data and compliance with legal requirements
- Providing advice and guidance to employees on pay & tax related queries
- Providing monthly updates to the Board in relation to the budget, legal updates and payroll related initiatives in line with the company strategy
- Analysis and reporting on financial data relating to payroll and providing meaningful data to internal stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems and integrations
- Developing and streamlining payroll related processes
- Dealing with external local & government bodies HMRC, local council for pay deduction related queries
- Overall responsibility for employee documentation including legal `Right to work` documents.
- Processing TUPE IN/OUT, handling different terms & conditions, assisting in preparation of Employer Liability Information sheet.
- Managing various pension schemes, including auto enrollment, LGPS and other DC type scheme

ABOUT YOU:

In order to be successful in this role, you must have extensive experience as a payroll professional and have progressed into a team leader or Supervisory role and have experience in the following:

- Proven experience of managing and processing end-to-end multi-site payroll, preferably in a fast-paced service-industry such as facilities management, retail, hospitality, for white and blue collar employees
- Experience of pension administration and working knowledge of local government pension schemes
- Good understanding of UK legislation and ability to translate requirements, CIPP would be advantageous
- Comprehensive understanding of payroll and time and attendance software. Experience of working with Templa, SelectPay,Timegate would be advantageous
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to produce reports
- Excellent organisation, prioritisation and administration skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Be an excellent communicator with the ability to confidently and credibly engage and influence partners and employees.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities
- In-depth knowledge of handling TUPE IN/OUT processes
- Previous experience of managing employee files & Right to Work documents
- Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure with a common-sense approach.
- Ability to work in a team as well as an individual
- Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet Company core values.

You will need to present and conduct yourself in a professional, courteous and appropriate manner in accordance with the Company policies, procedures, guidelines and values.
