ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently recruiting for motivated, reliable and customer focused Finance Manager to join our team based in Uxbridge, London, UB8 1HE on a 9 month Fixed Term Contract.

Job Type: Fixed Term Contract -9 months - Full Time.

Pay Rate: £60,000 per annum +Benefits.

Working Hours: 40Hrs per week, Monday to Friday 09:00Hrs to 17:30Hrs.

Start Date: Immediately.

Overview of Role:

This role will cover a broad spectrum of responsibilities within the Finance Department, supporting the business in providing insightful and value added management information to support financial and commercial decision making.

It will include successfully managing communication and relationships with key stakeholders across the company as well as supporting the FC with providing business enhancing MI for the Senior Leadership team.

The Finance Manager will also be responsible for managing and upskilling a team of 5 assistant accountants.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

-Financial Reporting
-Debt and WIP reporting.
-Monthly billings and revenue recognition tracker to be maintained and completed for review with FC (revenue leakage control).
-Implement and manage required month end accounting schedules in an appropriate format in order to submit as part of audit pack.
-Implement and manage ledger reconciliations process to maintain integrity of financial data.
-Support transformation of the chart of accounts structure to improve reporting and analysis.
-Manage the Fixed Asset Register.
-Support the FC with annual audit process and it`s timely completion.
-Assist with annual budget preparation.
-Support the implementation and improvement of finance processes, KPIs and reports with the aim to manage thereafter.
-Maintain the bank of SOP documents, quarterly review and updates where required.
-Update customer contract P&Ls for review with FC before finalising month end accounts.
-Review and authorise supplier payments, expenses and payroll payments via online banking, shared responsibility for the administration of banking and credit card processes.

Other:

-Manage and coach a team of 5.
-Support the FC with systems and process transformation projects.
-Ad-hoc projects including report building, setting up and regularly monitoring a robust digital filing system, improving controls across the business and continuous review for enhancing efficiencies.

-Team management experience.
-Finance Ops / business partnering experience.
-Excellent skills in building relationships and developing partnerships with multiple stakeholders.
-Ability to interact and work with multi-functional teams, providing support and guidance to non-finance stakeholders.
-Be an excellent communicator with the ability to confidently and credibly engage with customer, employees and other external partners.
-Self-starter and ability to challenge the status quo.
-Excellent time management skills with ability to work without continuous supervision.
-Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to produce presentations, analyse and report on data and make recommendations.
-Be flexible and have a hands-on approach with the ability to take ownership of queries and see them through to completion.
-Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
-Proven record of being responsive and innovative.
-Excel modelling skills - desired.
-Understanding of Payroll process, cycle and statutory requirements to enable operational and financial efficiencies - desired.

You will need to present and conduct yourself in a professional, courteous and appropriate manner in accordance with the Company policies, procedures, guidelines and values.

Level Of Qualification:

ACCA / ACA Finalist / Qualified Accountant, QBE 5+ years in similar role
