ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently recruiting for motivated, reliable and customer focused Strategic Research Executive to join our team based in Uxbridge.

Job Type: Permanent - Full Time.

Pay Rate: Upto £35,000 per annum as per experience.

Working Hours: 40Hrs per week, Monday to Friday 09:00Hrs to 17:30Hrs.

Start Date: Immediately.

Role Summary:

Tenon FM UK part of Tenon Group is a major Facilities Management provider. Tenon FM UK is growing fast and smart growth needs smart intelligence. We`re looking for a Strategic Research Executive who can power our business development engine by finding the right opportunities, the right markets and the right clients at the right time. This is a role for someone commercially curious, analytically sharp and naturally persistent person who loves digging into data, spotting patterns, and turning insight into actionable leads that get us in the room with our ideal prospects.

You will work with the site teams to ensure excellent service delivery and that our clients have a better day, every day.

Your responsibilities and Key Areas of work may include:

- Research and profile markets, sectors and regions to identify areas of highest opportunity.
- Map decision-makers, organisational structures and buying routes to open doors for our BD team.
- Track frameworks, tender portals, procurement activity and FM trends to keep Tenon in front of the curve.
- Produce clear, actionable insight reports that guide our sales strategy and targeting.
- Develop prospect lists, contact strategies and outreach plans to generate first meetings.
- Coordinate early-stage engagement with prospective clients ?" emails, calls, LinkedIn outreach and follow-ups.
- Support the BD team during early qualification stages, helping assess opportunity value, competition and likelihood of win.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and CRM data, ensuring our information is always current, structured and ready for action.


ABOUT YOU:

- Strong research and analytical skills, able to turn raw information into meaningful insight.
- Confidence using online research tools, databases, public procurement sites and market resources.
- A natural curiosity about how businesses operate, buy services and make decisions.
- Excellent written communication skills and must be able to summarise clearly, concisely and persuasively.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple research streams simultaneously.
- Commercial awareness and an interest in sales, FM, property or business operations.
- Self-motivated and comfortable taking ownership of outcomes.
- Tech savvy mindset with solid IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint, CRM or similar).


Previous experience is desirable; however, full training will be provided. You will need to present and conduct yourself in a professional, courteous and appropriate manner in accordance with the Company policies, procedures, guidelines and values.
