ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are currently recruiting for a Project & Compliance Manager to join our team based in Hatfield.

Job Type: Permanent - Full Time.

Pay Rate: Up to up to £60,000 per annum.

Location: Hatfield, AL10 9AB

Working Hours: 40 Hrs per week, Monday to Friday.

Start Date: Immediately.

Role Summary:

The Project & Compliance Manager will manage all projects (new and existing), have the ability to quote for new works as well as support the Hard Services team to ensure that all SLA`s and KPI`s are met. This role is responsible for ensuring that Tenon fm is complaint in all the areas of work including, but not restricted to, risk assessments, training, statutory compliance/certificates.

The Project & Compliance Manager will work jointly with the Head of Commercial & Technical and QUESH Director to build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure the contract is achieving service excellence delivery standards.

Your responsibilities and Key Areas of work may include:

-Identify and price project leads, oversee the technical design documentation process, submit and win tenders within defined timelines with an eye on compliance and cost.
-Develop maximum profitable growth of the business through understanding client needs, maximising the services delivered and championing excellent customer care.
-Compiling supplier and tender packages to ensure timely and accurate quotations.
-Ensure that work orders are verified as per the supplier contract agreements in terms of commercial values, rates, quantities and material costs.
-Lead and support the undertaking of surveys, including asset surveys, interpret survey results and make recommendations to the Leadership team on key actions and lead negotiations with clients on recommendations and best practice.
-Overall responsibility for the Helpdesk function and ensuring that they have a clear understanding of their roles and ensuring monthly KPIs and SLAs requirements are met and / or exceeded.
-Conduct interviews and surveys to ensure that employees are compliant with regulations across UH and the wider Tenon fm business.
-Conduct investigations to discover the root cause of compliance problems when they arise, perform research to stay informed about environmental standards.
-Educate employees and partners through regular comms, documentation and brochures on how to improve compliance.
-Examine, improve and implement auditing processes to resolve reactive and planned maintenance compliance issues fast, working towards full preventative measures.
-Develop and deliver SSOW, RAMS etc for the contract, ensuring all colleagues are aware and trained in the relevant subjects.
-Motivate employees to not only strive to meet compliance standards, but also to exceed them for operating efficiency.
-Lead and support the design of programmes that improve compliance.
-Manage the customer interface with all Account Operations Managers; ensuring a high profile in the day-to-day management of the strategic development of accounts.
-Develop and manage strong relationships with our client, suppliers and other Tenon fm partners.
-Ensure that continuous improvement processing is an integral part of service delivery, adding value to both the business and our client.
-As a member of the Service Team, to be an ambassador and leader of the business.
-Lead and manage your direct reports on all aspects of their role, Company policies and procedures to ensure that team members clearly understand and take ownership of their area of responsibility, proactively respond to client requests to deliver an efficient and responsive service and performance manage as necessary.
-Work collaboratively with the Hard Services Manager to support the development and engagement of the HS team of highly skilled senior technicians, technicians and specialist contractors.
-Ensure all third-party contractors are managed effectively and in accordance with Tenon fm and site processes and procedures.
-Keep a full and accurate record of all works completed.
-Providing monthly financial reports on the cost of maintenance and operations.

ABOUT YOU:

We are looking for someone with:

-Proven experience of having compliance and technical accountability for M&E systems and solutions.
-Proven experience leading and managing capital projects and subcontractors.
-Highly organised with the ability to forward plan to ensure that compliance and projects are delivered within the agreed project plans.
-Excellent communicator with the ability to confidently and credibly engage and influence clients, partners and employees.
-Experience of compliance, projects and budgetary control and ability to manage profit and loss.
-Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to produce presentations, analyse and report on data and make recommendations.
-The ability to lead, manage, coach, develop and motivate direct reports and teams.
-Excellent skills in building relationships and developing partnerships across multiple stakeholders.
-A proven record of being responsive and innovative.
-Self-motivation with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
-The ability to maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet Company core values.
